2. (Jacques-Francois-)Fromental(-Élie) Halévy (Elyahu Halfon Levy ) was born 1799 in Paris. He died 1862 in Nice and was buried in Paris (Pere Lachaise).

Fromental married, in 1842, Léonie Rodrigues Henriques, daughter of Isaac Rodrigues Henriques and Esther Gradis. Léonie was born 1820. She died 1884.

They had the following children:

	4	F	i	(Julie-)Esther(-Anna) Halévy was born 1843. She died 1863.
+	5	F	ii	Geneviève Halévy was born 1849 and died 1926.

3. Léon Halévy (Elyahu Halfon Levy ) was born 1802. He died 1883.

Léon married (1) Alexandrine Le Bas, daughter of Hippolyte Le Bas, in 1831.

They had the following children:

+	6	M	i	Ludovic Halévy was born 1834 and died 1908.
	7	F	ii	Valentine Halévy.

Léon also had a liaison (2) with (Anne-Catherine-)Lucinde Paradol was born 1789. She died 1843 in Paris.
